Spring has arrived in Cape Town, and with it a fresh sense of joy and renewal. This year feels even more special, as we step into our 30th anniversary celebrations at Cape Studies. Thirty years of welcoming students from every corner of the world, thirty years of laughter and learning, and thirty years of building a family which stretches across borders. We are truly blessed to have been so blessed.
It feels fitting that our celebrations begin in Heritage Month. This is a time when South Africans honour the concept of our unity in diversity. This spirit is at the heart of who we are as a school. Every day, our classrooms bring together people from different cultures, languages, and walks of life. Under one roof, we set our differences aside, share our stories, and build bridges that cross oceans. It’s a living reminder of how beautiful it is when the world learns together.
As we look back on three decades, our hearts are full of gratitude, for the students who trusted us with their dreams, the teachers and staff who poured their energy into every lesson, and the friendships that have blossomed in our own very lounge. Cape Studies has never just been about learning English; it’s been about connection, understanding, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

We’re beginning our anniversary with a special blessing, taking a moment to give thanks for the journey so far and to welcome the season ahead. This is only the start of our celebrations, and we look forward to sharing this milestone with everyone who has been a part of our story.
Join the celebration! Whether you’re a past student, a friend of Cape Studies, or someone just discovering us, we’d love to hear your stories and memories of your time spent studying English in Cape Town. Share them with us on social media, tag us in your posts, or drop by the school to reconnect. Use the tag #CapeStudies30. After 30 years, our story is richer because of you! We are because you are, and together, we’ll keep writing the next chapter.
Here’s to spring, to heritage, to unity and to the next 30 years, and counting, of Cape Studies!
