Meet The Owners
Cape Studies is a 100% South African company
Jens was born in East-Germany. He left his home town Gera in 1984 and moved to Mainz. After studying law, he came to Cape Town in 1993 for a holiday – and stayed. He started Cape Studies in 1995.
2010 he became South African citizen – ‘this is my country!’
In 2005 he adopted Nicholas right from birth. The love of his life he says … Since 2021 Nicholas has slowly started taking over with new fresh marketing ideas. Jens always talks about the starting days of Cape Studies – when the fax machine was a new thing – Nicholas adds modern days marketing tools to the success of Cape Studies
Cape Studies is registered under the South African Further Education Act.
Our courses are approved by the regulations for ‘Bildungsurlaub’ in Germany.
Cape Studies is accredited as a skills development provider with the QCTO South Africa – our accreditation is SDP1228/17/005.
We are registered with the South African Department of Education which means that, if required, students will be granted a study permit when studying with us.
